Dickens, together with Oliver Twist and Pickwick, are that rare thing, an authentic British pub abroad. From the brass fittings, to the free house offering a wide choice of British beers, an extensive selection of whiskeys (and whiskies), beaten-up leather sofas, glistening brass and wood panels, and large screen tv's showing sporting action from across Europe, you'd be hard-pressed to find a more realistic atmosphere east of Harwich.
