Teremok

With over 40 full service restaurants and a further 50 plus smaller kiosks (called Teremki), Teremok has one of the largest footprints of any restaurant or cafe in St Petersburg. You're sure to see their logo all over town wherever you happen to be. Teremok is a fast-food bliny restaurant which started in 1998 and now offers a full range of Russian cuisine, including sweet and savory pancakes, soups, meat and fish dishes with grenki, breads, deserts, beer and kvass. They have various meal combinations as well as a children's menu. For a full-on Russian starter menu, try the mushroom pancake followed by a bowl of pelmeni smothered in smetana washed down by a pint of frothy kvass.
