Helsinki Bar

Finland and all things Finnish has always loomed large in the collective consciousness of the average citizen of St Petersburg, a quasi-mythical land of clean air, unspoiled nature and cheap shopping, located a few hours over the horizon by train, car or ferry. Capitalizing on this interest, a group of local friends decided to open this establishment, more of a gourmet pub experience than a cheap and raucous theme bar which welcomes locals in the know, Scandinavian ex-pats pining for their homeland, and those in search of a warm and friendly place to have a few drinks with an interesting menu and regular live music performances.
